How You Can Help:

We are always looking for and appreciate donations to the archives. We welcome old photographs, documents, and other relevant material about Blackfalds, its residents, or anything relating to the town and areas development, history, and life. The society has an acquisition policy, and a Deed of Gift Agreement is filled out to document the donors name and other pertinent information. We file and keep everything in archival quality storage materials and containers, and some local, long term families and clubs have donated their photo and document collection to the archives, where it is much safer, and preserved properly, thus avoiding home accidents like basement flooding, fire, and disposal by persons not knowing what the material really is and its significance. All the material donated is still accessible at any time, unless we are told otherwise.
